DPF hacked day after book review of TLC posted

Heading: Deep Politics Forum was hacked next day after book review of The Last Circle was posted there.

A mysterious and sad event has occurred at the Deep Politics Forum (DPF). Someone hacked into their Forum on December 16, 2010 and left this message:

"Deep Politics Forum has passed on. It is no more. It has ceased to be. Expired and gone to meet it's maker. It is a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace, pushing up daisies. It's system processes are now history. It's off the twig. It's kicked the bucket, shuffled off it's mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible! THIS IS AN EX FORUM!!"

Unfortunately Ed Encho had posted his fabulous book review of The Last Circle at DPF on December 15th, one day before the hacking occurred.

Members of DPF are still awaiting news whether DPF can or will be restored by the IT and its founders.

Apparently the DP Forum was hacked by an original founding member for some reason.

Not to make light of what may well have been a veiled threat, but the bulk of this text is directly quoted from Monty Python's "Dead Parrot" sketch. If this was meant as a threat, at least the threatener has good taste in humor.

It was as Linda said... ownership drama.
Short story, the site has multiple owners/administrators.. one decided to 'take over' and hacked the site, changed the password, and posted a statement saying they had taken over b/c they couldn't trust the other mods on the forum that they reinstated.
A few days later the others gained access to the site and kicked the one out and issued a statement.

Too much drama for me lol.. I have my own thank you very much
