Thanks Rachel, I was an acquaintance of "Indio", Fred Alvarez, and previously we had, as a group, attended a funeral for another Harley rider that was killed in a motorcycle accident. The last thing I said to him was "we need to stop meeting like this ( funerals )" and then he was the next friend to go. I had driven past that little green house in the desert a thousand times and never imagined that something so wrong could happen there. Sorry that your dad was lost too. There were many things going on in the Coachella Valley at the time and I left in 1985 because I was sick of the drug culture all around me. Many blessings, R
